WWI French Lebel Bayonet Model 1886/15

Excellent WWI French Lebel Épée-Baïonnette Modèle 1886/15 with Scabbard, a First World War modification of the classic Lebel M1886 bayonet originally designed for the Lebel rifle. This example features the later brass hilt construction and the wartime removal of the original quillon as part of the 1886/15 simplification program. Issued widely to French infantry during WWI and later seeing continued service into WWII, these bayonets are an iconic part of French military history. Presented in excellent condition with its scabbard, this is a well-preserved and highly collectible example of a classic European service bayonet.
